Creating A User

Creating a new user has never been easier, whether its seasonal or permanent staff, VisiPos allows you to add, update, change and delete users quickly

The Process:
You can manage individual users at one site or across multiple sites.

  • When launching the administrator, navigate to users and select to add a new user.
  • Each user needs a unique ID number, this can then be used in sales analysis and when looking at reasons why things have happened on this point of sale.
  • Each user can have a unique password and a separate Dallas Key or magstripe password, meaning you can fully secure a users access.
  • You will be asked to enter user details including Full Name. This will appear on customer receipts.
  • You can also select a user template to give them their default permissions. For example, POS Supervisor or Manager.
  • You can customise permissions further to make sure that user has access to what they need. This is done via a POS tab, once the tab is open you can simply select or deselected from a list of template permissions. Any administrator permissions or cash only customer tender options can also be set up per user.
  • Once set up users are available live in the database and that user can log straight in and begin serving customers.

Updating Menus For Catering Outlets

Update restaurant and catering outlet menus as your dishes change with the seasons quickly and simply. Empower your restaurant or café staff to manage their own menus, tailored to their particular catering outlet and it’s needs.

The Process:

  • Easily set up the right buttons on the point of sale for your catering team.
  • If you want to change a brand of drinks sold within your bar, maybe you want to update restaurant specials or have feedback from users that button are hard to find. You can easily move buttons around, update menus and add new drinks.
  • Select Menu Designs within your administrator panel. Then navigate to the menu that needs changing. When that menu is open you can manage multiple menu buttons and multiple pages easily.
    • Example 1. Bar Menu Update. If you would like to update a current product in your menu. Navigate to that menu set up, select the product to be updated. Under ‘Menu Button Properties’ you can action ‘Product Addition’. Then re-create the button as you wish it to appear. This might include adding an image to make it easy to identify by the operator, adding text or even colour to denote what the product is. Once button appearance is selected you can select the product code it should be linked to and the dimension you want to associate with it. If you have alternate dimensions such as Pint or Half Pint, simply copy the button and edit the dimension. Once updated the products can be found in the live database and will be ready to use straight away.
    • Example 2. Restaurant Specials change. If you would like to update the daily, weekly or monthly specials within your hospitality EPOS system simply navigate to the ‘menu Designs’ tab with you administrator, open the menu you would like to change. Once the menu is open you can select your pre-created menu under the button properties. This change applies across all restaurant menus.
    • Example 3. Move a Button. Moving a button around on your point of sale won’t interrupt operators who are currently serving your customers, operators will have to update once the change is applied to see the new menu.

Updating Menus in Retail or Ticketing

The Process:

You can update your EPOS display for users quickly and easily. Whether that’s because tickets are no longer on sale or you need to add something new to the giftshop, this can all be controlled in your administrator panel.

  • You can update all departments from a central location without interrupting operators.
  • Deleting A Button. If a menu needs updating and buttons deleting, navigate to ‘Menu Designs’, select the menu to update, find the item you want to remove, clear it from the screen and rearrange any other buttons accordingly. Then Save and the updates happen live.
  • Adding A Button. If a menu needs updating and buttons deleting, navigate to ‘Menu Designs’, select the menu to update, choose where you want to put the new button on the screen, through ‘Menu Button Properties’ you can customise the button to look how you want including colour, font and images. You can select a stock item by searching the product database selecting an item and saving the updated menu.
  • Once buttons are updated Operators have finished serving, simply go to the manager menu and refresh/update the buttons. Operators can sell new items straight away.
