Selling A Ticket

Choose any event, ticket type and quantity, the live availability is updated constantly to prevent overselling.

The Process:
Customers can go on to your website, select their date/time and then purchase their ticket for your attraction. This online portal links directly through to your point of sale ensuring the most up to date information is available to customers at all times. Live ticket data is updated across both your EPOS systems and you online booking portal.

  • At the point of sale your operators can see the same updated information, when selling a ticket they can choose the event, type of tickets, how many tickets.
  • The system then shows the live availability of the event, showing any sold out or any they can’t attend due to the number of tickets.
  • They can then choose the session they want and capture the required information you need for ticketing insurance or marketing purposes. This includes an integrated postcode look up software called ideal postcodes and an option for the customer to receive marketing information.
  • To capture this information operators can use either a touchscreen or a keyboard.
  • Once all information is captured, tickets can be printed and the transaction cashed or additional items sold.

Redeeming A Ticket

Cut admissions queues in half and speed up entry  into your attraction with VisiPos. Whether its a quick entry barcode scan from an online ticket sale, or a ticket bought on the day. Easily manage small or large group ticket redemption’s, with an option to print tickets as a souvenir.

The Process:

Redeeming tickets sold online or sold on the day is a simple process.

    • As visitors arrive at your attraction they can simply present the operators with a barcode they have received via email. This could be on their mobile phone or a printed copy.
    • The operator simply selects redeem on their point of sale till, scans the barcode and is presented with full details of the person in front of them, including who booked the ticket and how, plus what tickets they are there to redeem.
    • They can choose to redeem some or all of their tickets depending on whether all the visitors have yet arrived. The till has an option to redeem all tickets or the operator can simply select which tickets they would like to redeem by choosing the ticket types individually and selecting the quantity.
    • Tickets can then be printed if required as souvenirs for their visit that day.
    • To ensure the tickets have been redeemed correctly, you can go on t your online ticketing platform and see the ticket information updated live.

Selling A Membership

On site staff can select a pre-programmed product look up, select the relevant membership type, enter visitor details and add further memberships to the sale or complete their purchase.

The Process:

On your EPOS system an operator can select a membership by navigating to pre programmed product look up and selecting the relevant membership they are selling.

  • Once the membership type is selected, the operator can begin capturing customer details including name, postcode and marketing preferences. VisiPos includes a postcode look up called Ideal Postcodes to ensure accurate information is collected.
  • You can configure mandatory details boxes ensuring all the relevant customer information is entered by the operator.
  • You can add additional memberships to a sale. Then choose the primary contact, enter additional details for new members and manage their preferences.
  • Once all memberships are added to a sale and the details confirmed, you can total then tender the sale and print tickets if required.

Redeeming A Membership

Reduce admissions queues and speed up entry with VisiPos membership redemption. With a quick swipe or scan you can see all membership information, update contact details, renew membership or redeem entry into your attraction.

The Process:

Admitting and validating memberships into your attraction has a few simple steps.

  • Operators can choose to scan, swipe or enter a membership number to be presented with the visitors details.
  • Once the visitors details are displayed on your point of sale, operators can choose to update any relevant information, take a new photo, print the membership ticket or renew the membership.
  • To redeem their entry, the operator selects redeem and the database will update how many times the ticket has been used, what their membership status is and where they are that day.
